This useful method describes processes for evaluating the adhesive used in glued lap joints of corrugated
containers.
The procedures described here allow evaluation of heat resistance, water resistance, and cold resistance of the
adhesive used in glued lap joints.
Not every adhesive formulation will require a given level of performance in each of these environments. One should select the applicable evaluation process(s) from this method based on the environmental conditions the
container will be subjected to.
