This is a companion document to the main PDMA Innovation Management Standard
(TIM-PD-001-STD), the Interpretation Guideline (TIM-PD-003-GL) and supporting
documentation.
This document explains in detail the certification and accreditation scheme of the Total
Innovation Management Foundation and the Product Development and Management
Association, for its registrars, accredited consultants, trainers and auditors. It gives a
high-level but congruent overview of the roles of the TIM Foundation and the PDMA,
their accredited partners, such as Certification and Training Partners, how they
cooperate, and which guidelines, requirements and protocols are applicable,
collectively referred to as compliance documents.
